I recently celebrated my 38th birthday — and had a blast! 🎉
I chose to extend my birthday celebrations for a week, enjoying lots of fun experiences with friends.
The first was a potluck party hosted by my friend Lana Shlafer at her home in Palmas Del Mar. About a dozen entrepreneur friends gathered for delicious food and my favorite chocolate cake from Chez Daniel.
Then I took Monday and Tuesday off and headed up to San Juan.
On Monday night, the day before my birthday, I had a shopping party at The Fashion Lounge, a Puerto Rican boutique with incredible clothes, while enjoying sushi, champagne, and gluten-free cupcakes!

It was on my mental vision board to manifest a free stay at O:LV, a super cool, boutique hotel which has been called “the sexiest hotel in the Caribbean” and the “best new hotel” by Travel+Leisure.
Celebrities like Naomi Campbell and Marc Anthony stay there… and I can tell why. The owner, Puerto Rican entrepreneur Loisse Herger, has created a one-of-a-kind, stylish wonderland with so many magical touches.

Loisse was an acquaintance, and she sent me a Facebook message a couple of weeks before my birthday saying:
“Hi Selena! How are you? I’m selecting a few people that can influence others. Would you like to stay at O:LV or spend the day as you wish and post about it?”
I was an instant yes!
I had a blast hanging out at the pool with my friend Lana, enjoying the amazing views and celebrating life!
